What  Does The Church Anniversary Mean To You?

We asked various members of the church [elders, children, new members, etc.] what does celebrating our upcoming church anniversary mean to them.  Here are a few responses:

 

"Celebration of the upcoming church anniversary provides a time to reflect on the growth and progress of the church.   It is a time to thank God for His help in the maintenance of the ministry and His gifts to our pastors.  What God ordains, God maintains.  Celebration for the anniversary also gives hope for the future of this church and an expectation of fulfillment of God's promise to His children."

"Celebration of the upcoming church anniversary means a time to rejoice and  to give God the glory for sustainment in the body of Christ; our church.  I think about all the elders, evangelists, leaders, seniors, members, guest speakers, and visitors who have embraced our pastors' vision and their special anointments to desire to worship at LFWC.     To know that our church had a very humble beginning makes me proud to know Pastor Wade and First Lady Shirley.  This upcoming month will be our first year with the church."    We love you-Happy 13th Anniversary!!!!! n

Announcements/Upcoming Events/Projects

            Church picnic had a great turnout and a good time was had by all attendees.

      "It's Harvest Time":  This is the theme for our 13th Annual Church Anniversary, August 1st and 3rd.  Friday Evening, August 1 will kick off our first day of celebration where many churches, their choirs and dance teams and pastors have been invited to the church.  Sunday morning, Pastor Trey O'Neal, will be speaking and in the evening and Pastor Henry Adams, Jr. will be speaking at 4 p.m.

     Fund Raiser for Building Project:  

       The next project will be a Neighborhood Car Wash, featuring our Young People and NuWave and our Youth Department and a dinner sponsored by the Building Fund Committee.  Dates for the Car Wash will be in early September. 

           

        A Turkey Dinner will be held in mid-September, details to follow.  Everyone is requested to order to support our ministry.     We  know  that God will richly reward you!   We are asking every member of Love Family Worship Center to be a part of the Building Fund Drive starting this month through next September 2009.

Love  Family Worship Center has a new Website. The Web address is: http://www.lovefamilyministries.com/.   It is currently ready for review and will be an awesome advertising and ministry tool for years to come.   If you would like to enter articles into the bulletin or the website, please see Pastor Shirley, Sister Mary Denise, Sister C. J., or Elder Andrew,.

When I was alone and had nothing I asked for a friend to help me bear this pain, no one came except . . . God. When I needed a break to rise from my sleep, no one could help except . . .God.  When all I saw was sadness and needed answers, no one heard me except . . .God.  So when I am asked who I give my unconditional love to,  look for no other name except God!!!  n
