Pastor Wade O'Neal, Jr
Pastor Wade O’Neal, Jr. along with his wife Shirley, founded the House of Refuge Ministries in 1995, and was ordained in 1994, by Agape International Ministries. He was ordained again in 2003 by LeSea Ministries, Pastor Henry Adams, Jr., who serves as covering for Pastors Wade & Shirley O' Neal and the House of Refuge Ministries, Love Family Worship Center.
Pastor Wade and his wife Shirley have served as Pastor and Co-Pastor of House of Refuge Ministries, and Love Family Worship Center for 10 years. Pastor Wade holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering, from Prairie View A & M University. He is a retired civil service worker employee where he retired from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, as a GS-11 Civil Engineer, with 26 years of service.
He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 13 years of age, and he is a Spirit filled, born again believer. Pastor and his wife, Shirley, host a local 30—minute T. V. Program, “Victory is Mine”, which has aired in San Antonio and surrounding cities and communities for approximately 7 years. They have hosted this telecast weekly for some 5 to 6 years. They have appeared on local Radio Stations, TV Stations, and other venues spreading the Love of Jesus and winning of lost souls.
Co-Pastor Shirley O'Neal
Co-Pastor Shirley O’Neal serves as Co-Pastor of the House of Refuge Ministries and Love Family Worship Center. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the tender age of 9 years of age. She was ordained by Agape International Ministries in 1995 and again by, Pastor Henry Adams, Jr., LeSea International Ministries in 2003, who covers their church. She has worked in ministry most of her life since age 7. She has served as a pastor for 10 years and has worked in ministry over some 45 years. She is a spirit-filled, born again believer and truly loves the Lord.
Their ministry is a Full-Gospel Word Ministry, and Non-Denominational Ministry. Their vision is “To Spread the Love of Jesus throughout the community, and throughout the world through our Love Walk”. They love the Lord and are totally committed to Jesus Christ and the Work of the Ministry.
She is a graduate of the University of Texas, Arlington, 1970, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Languages and English. She has produced a CD Project, Intimate Praise to Jesus, and is currently working on another project. She is a national recording artist and has performed and ministered before such celebrities, Former Mayor Andrew Young, Motivational Speaker Les Brown, State Representative Karen Jones Conley, Renowned Award Winning Recording Artist/Singer Pastor Shirley Caesar and many others.
She is a retired Civil Service Employee, GS-11, with 25 years of Federal Service. She and her husband hosts a weekly T. V. Telecast, Victory is Mine, which airs 30-minutes weekly. Many viewers have received the Lord as their Savior through this weekly telecast, airing for over six (6) years.
Pastor Wade and his wife Shirley have one son, Wade O’Neal, III, who is married to Karrie O’Neal, who both are also ordained ministers and both work in the ministry of Love Family Worship Center as Bible Teacher/Associate Pastors and Music Ministers. Their Son, Wade III, and Daughter-in-law, Karrie, both hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration, Theology, and Biology, and Education. Their son has a Christian Recording Studio and has produced CD projects for his mother “Intimate Praise to Jesus”, and many others, and others clients.
Pastor Wade is a man of God and is given to prayer and study of God’s Word. He is has served the Lord most of his life and he truly loves the Lord and God’s people.
Co-Pastor Shirley is a prayer warrior and intercessor and loves the Lord and His Word. She is an excellent speaker and speaks not only on T. V. but for other church groups and professional organizations. Pastor Shirley loves people and spreads Gods love everywhere she goes.
